OnePlus 7 What We Have Heard?

The biggest rumor about upcoming OnePlus 7 – so far, is a claim from OnePlus that it will release one of the first 5G-enabled smartphones next year. Well, OnePlus 7 isn’t named, however, that’s likely what they’re talking about (though OnePlus’ first 5G-capable smartphone might end up being a next one released – OnePlus 7T.

Similarly, OnePlus announced that it’ll release its first 5G-enabled smartphone sooner in Europe as OnePlus is partnering with network EE (UK) to being that handset in Europe at some point in 2019. Honestly speaking, we are short on words on, for now – especially whether they’re referring to OnePlus 7 or 7T.

However, it’s most likely that the upcoming beast wouldn’t be 5G-connected smartphone OnePlus is talking about. Based on several online reports, the 5G handset will be first in an entirely new line and the leak has suggested it’ll start at $649 ($100 more than Oneplus 6T).

A leaked image of OnePlus 7 has suggested that a notch has gone away entirely – possibly to be replaced by a slide-out camera – like Oppo Find X. The bezels are looking smaller as compared to ever and we wouldn’t be disappointed if that ended up being a final design of OnePlus 7.

Aside from that, OnePlus will be equipped with a Glass Back – since OnePlus only recently switched to the glass with its recently released OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The handset seems to have an alert slider – since previous devices in the range do and it’s sure to be loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset, 855 which is yet to be officially announced.

You should not expect a microSD card slot – based on past form and a screen resolution is very much a question mark. Normally, OnePlus releases Full HD+ resolution devices, but that’s feeling ever more dated. So, later or sooner we would expect a switch to QHD or even higher. As OnePlus 6T has said goodbye to a standard headphone jack, so it’s most likely that OnePlus wouldn’t bring it back for OnePlus 7.

OnePlus 7 Release Date and Price:

The handset most probably will arrive somewhere in May or June 2019. The last year’s OnePlus 6 released back in May 2018 – therefore, May 2019 is a possibility for OnePlus 7. Going a little bit back, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 3 were released in June of their respective years - so, June 2019 is also a possible release period.

Taking about OnePlus 7 Price in Australia, it’s not announced yet. But October’s OnePlus 6T started at AU$599 and prices have been creeping up progressively since a range began, so we are expecting OnePlus 7 to set users back at least that much if not more.
