Huawei Mate 20 Pro Overview
The upcoming flagship smartphone named Mate 20 Pro is coming with tri-camera configuration which we’ve already seen on Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A7 2018. The Mate 20 Pro also has IP68 certification making Mate 20 Pro dust-proof and water-resistant. Moreover, it’s backed by an on-screen fingerprint scanner.
Camera-wise, Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with an 8MP FaceTime sensor and a rear tri-camera configuration – 40MP + 20MP + 8MP sensors alongside an LED Flash for detailed images in a low-light condition. The rear cameras are supported by OIS and much more features to aid noise-free and gorgeous images.
The handset houses a biggest 6.3-inches AMOLED screen with a maximum resolution of 1440 x 3120 Pixels. The screen is paired with excellent viewing angles ensuring users top-of-the-line viewing experience during playing graphics-intensive games and watching HD movies. The screen of Mate 20 Pro also comes with Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection
The onboard memory is 64GB for storing an ample amount of data such as countless apps, songs, images, and even movies. Be noted, users won’t be able to expand its onboard memory any further.
Digging down inside, it’s armed with an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset and 6GB of RAM. The overall performance will definitely be smooth and silky and will give users a lag-free experience. Gaming and multitasking experience will also be a breeze.
The smartphone is based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with no defined timeline of an upgrade. And keep things moving, mate 20 Pro will be backed by 5000mAh (not sure) non-removable battery.

The official Huawei Mate 20 Pro release date in Australia is undecided for now, but other countries such as China and India will start getting in on shelves from 16th of October and onward. As far as Huawei Mate 20 Pro 64GB Price in Australia is concerned, it will set users back around AU$1450 whereas 128GB variant will set users back a little more. Wait! Another variant – 256GB is also expected to be landed and how much does it cost, that’s something we’re short on words on, for now.
