Design and Display

The latest Dell XPS 13 inches 2-in-1 is a little bit heavier than its predecessors. It weighs 2.9 pounds and measures 0.28 to 0.51-inches. It includes 16:10 wider screen along with EyeSafe Tech which reduces the blue light, a 19% larger touchpad and edge-to-edge Maglev keyboard. There is a small 2.25mm webcam on the top of the screen and there is another biggest improvement in design – a lip up front which makes it a lot easier to open with one hand. The 13.3-inches display shines at 500 nits brightness with an aspect ratio of 16:10 to capture more content in a vertical position. Thus, it helps with work and web browsing.

Keyboard

With respect to the keyboard, Dell has taken steps towards improving that as well. This MagLev keyboard is the next generation in Dell, using new original (.7 mm) switches for a comfortable type zone that is quieter than before with bigger keycaps. Dell's new keyboard is 24 percent slimmer than standard keyboards, feels a bit as punchy and accurate as MacBook switch Apple's' Butterfly' keyboards.
