Design and Display
Starting from Vivo V3’s design, it’s quite a difference compared to Vivo Z3i. It’s boasting a water-drop like Notch which we’ve already seen in plentiful smartphones such as Oppo F9 Pro and Vivo V11 Pro. The Notch houses a 12MP FaceTime sensor. The overall dimensions we’ve heard are 156 x 75.6 x 8.1 mm and weighs only 164 grams.
The rear camera is positioned vertically on the left top corner of the phone and there is a fingerprint scanner too. Out bottom, you’ll see a little chin whereas power and volume keys are holding their position on the right side of Vivo Z3. The phone comes in 3 fashionable colors – Starry night, Aurora Blue and Dream Powder.
Out front, you’ll see a gorgeous and bright 6.3-inches which are based on IPS Technology which mean color reproduction is awesome and content is visible even in sunlight. The maximum display resolution is 1080 x 2280 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and there’s a water-drop notch for FaceTime sensor (as mentioned above). Wait! There is the speaker which is incorporated in a top-edge between the screen and a rim.
Camera and Performance
In a camera side of things, Vivo Z3 is backed by a rear dual camera consisting of 16MP + 2MP whereas, out front, there’s a solid 12MP selfie shooter. Unfortunately, a 12MP FaceTime sensor on Vivo Z3 is a downgrade compared to 24MP on Vivo Z3i.
The camera features include LED Flash, HDR, Panorama, Geo-Tagging, Auto Focus and more. And most important of all, one can record Full HD+ videos at 1080p@30fps.
Now moving on to a performance, Vivo Z3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 or 710 Chipset with two kryo 360 cores at 2GHz. The Chipset is partnered with a whopping 6GB and 4GB of RAM. The 6GB of RAM comes with 2 storage variants - 64GB and 128GB, while 4GB only comes with 64GB of onboard memory. You can expect up to snuff performance without any hiccup as a plethora of RAM is more than enough for multitasking or for playing graphics-enriched games.
Vivo Z3 Connectivity and Battery
There are so many connectivity options on Vivo Z3 which include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2 and micro USB 2.0. The sensors Vivo Z3 comes with are Infrared Face Recognition, Fingerprint Scanner (rear-mounted),Accelerometer, Proximity, and Compass.
Battery-wise, there’s indeed a beast inside the beast – not really amazing, though. The Vivo Z3 comes with an impressive amount of battery 3315mAh non-removable which promises a moderate user to go through an entire day with a light usage. The heavy user, however, would be needed to restore juice back before going to bed. Either, it’s fast charging supported or not, it’s a mystery.
