Upcoming Smartwatches 2020-2021

“Most Rumoured Technology-enriched Smartwatches Expected to Hit Stores in 2020-2021”

Although smartphones are getting advanced more and more day by day but let’s admit that smartwatches have also covered a handsome part of the market, thanks to their advanced features, innovative designs, and entirely-baked inner components. There are a lot of giants worldwide, producing countless smartwatches, making it quite hard for a user to decide which one to choose. As 2020 is about to slip out, you have an extensive range of options around when it comes to buying a smartwatch in Australia.

The modern smartwatches have enabled customers to push the boundaries and get rid of the limits as smartwatch companies are striving hard to introduce their customers with the latest and greatest matchless smartwatches. And it’s, without a shadow of a doubt, a good thing.

We have listed down a handsome range of upcoming smartwatches 2020 but here a question arises, should you get your hands on any current watch or is it better to wait a little further? As waiting always leads you to the latest and technology-enriched product, therefore, spending a couple of days more without a watch can help you buy something unique and matchless – perhaps at unbeatable rates as well.

1: Microsoft Surface Watch

No one can deny that Microsoft has gained huge popularity across the globe whenever it comes to buying the highest quality PCs and tablets. However, in terms of smartphones and accessories, Microsoft is still in a struggling zone.

Aside from Microsoft tablets, PC’s and smartphones, we’ve heard a number of rumours regarding Microsoft Surface Watch which is expected to arrive with Windows OS. Different online sources have confirmed that this American multinational technology company Microsoft with its Surface team is currently working to launch a smartwatch that runs Windows operating system and if things turn out to be true, then it’ll be one of the latest smartwatches of 2020 not only in Australia but other countries as well.

Based on reports gathered from different sources, Microsoft Surface Watch will have a square design alongside Oxynitride Aluminum Body which is said to be stronger and durable. Microsoft focuses on creating a company-based smartwatch with a robust battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cloud and of course, bigger storage. Some sources have confirmed that we should expect the prototype to be released before 2020 ends.

Different online sources have also confirmed that Microsoft has already sent a prototype to its Surface team and it’s most likely that the team will come with an excellent product near in the future. Be noted that the Surface brand is known for tablets, laptops, and computers but we’ll now see Surface to launch not only smartwatches but smartphones too.

2: Apple Watch Series 6

[groupProduct id=34335]

Every year we see a new model of Apple Smartwatches with overwhelming and enticing features and things seem to be the same this year with Apple’s upcoming Watch Series 6 which is likely to hit shelves before September 2020 ends.

With no doubt, Apple Watch Series 5 is currently leading the world of smartwatches throughout the globe and the next-gen Apple Watch Series 6 will be selling like a hot cake as well. The recent series 5 comes with the same design as we’ve already seen in Apple series 4 with a built-in compass and Always-On Display.

Well, we should not expect Series 6 to be launched before September 2020 ends but we’re hopeful to see it arriving on stores sooner with another innovative design. Rumours have indicated that the spinning Digital Crown is replaced by an optical reader with an optical fingerprint that addresses gestures too – but we’re completely unable to believe that it’ll happen. It’s also suggested that Apple could use an in-display Touch-ID fingerprint reader.

It could also be possible for Apple to monitor sleep, but a much more powerful battery would have to be used. A patent was issued back in May for a round Apple watch, but it remains uncertain if this patent is ever seen.

3: Google Pixel Watch

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been hearing rumours regarding Google Pixel Watch which was likely to hit shelves somewhere in the 2nd quarter 2020 but it didn’t happen. Still, now, there is no solid news about the Google Pixel Watch release date and its overall design as well as specifications. However, we’re expecting this watch to sport both LTE and Wi-Fi version with flagship-quality hardware.

Rumours are circulating around, suggesting that Google Pixel Watch will sport 1GB of RAM and will be a stock version of Wear OS or chances are we’ll see a version with interesting and overwhelming Pixel Watch features that are already available in Android Pixel smartphones.

With 1GB RAM, (if rumours are to be believed) Google Pixel Watch will promise to deliver a super-smooth and silky experience that you won’t be able to experience in any other smartwatch whether they’re Huawei smartwatches and Asus smartwatches.

Google looks at this smartwatch, according to some news, with premium features. It may be smaller in size and design as it’s likely to use a processor still to be released and most likely a round dial design.

Google is also ready to launch two new smartwatches in addition to Pixel. The two forthcoming Google smartwatches are named Angelfish and Swordfish. The release date of these watches hasn’t yet been confirmed – but rumours have suggested that both will start arriving on stores before 2020 ends.

The Angelfish smartwatch is said to be loaded with 42 mm and 46 mm sizes and you’ll also be able to get a heart rate monitor to help you track your heart rate. This watch will have GPS, LTE, and numerous other communication features. And it’ll possibly be available with the Android Wear 2.0 OS but things are pretty blurred. Swordfish, on the other hand, will have small bezels as compared to Angelfish and only one operating button will be available on this watch. It’s supposed to be cheap and the price will be higher for Angelfish.

4: Fitbit Iconic 2

The Australian market is loaded with many Fitbit Smartwatches such as Iconic which was the company’s first complete smartwatch with everything on page one would need. Although Iconic was a masterpiece from Fitbit but it’s lacking a number of features and specifications when comparing with other giants.

However, Fitbit’s CEO Mr. James Park has confirmed that Fitbit fans will soon see another gorgeously designed version of Fitbit Iconic named Fitbit Iconic 2 with significantly improved and enhanced features before 2020 ends.

Going a little back in March 2019, Fitbit’s CEO confirmed that the company is going launch a reformed version of Iconic near in the future and it’ll have a lot more features to target the world’s top athletes and healthy, active, and sensor-friendly people with GPS and other features that are special and impressive to use.

Making a long story short, this CEO guarantee makes up hopeful that Fitbit will create yet another smartwatch that offers improved design, additional fitness capabilities, ECG software, improved battery life, and most important of all, a price tag to keep your wallet away from a serious dent.

5: Asus ZenWatch 4

Indeed, Asus has covered a wide part of the Australian market when it comes to laptops and smartphones but it’s in a struggling zone if you really look for good Asus Smartwatches online in Australia. However, Asus seems to break all the world records of smartwatches near in the future by launching a state-of-the-art smartwatch – named Asus ZenWatch 4.

With a handsome number of advanced features and entirely-baked onboard components, Asus will lead the world of smartwatches. And with super-fast Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other connectivity options, you would no longer need to carry a smartphone anymore.

Very much like its predecessor ZenWatch 3, Asus ZenWatch 4 is expected to sport a round shape instead of square alongside numerous attractive features such as Remote Link, Asus Weather, Flashlight application, and much more. It’s said to be Bluetooth compatible smartwatch with a maximum 4GB ROM to store your data with ease.

The reason why different sources have confirmed ZenWatch 4 as the best upcoming smartwatch of 2020 is that it’s sporting super-fast connectivity, heart rate monitor, GPS system, round shape, and numerous applications.

6: Garmin Fenix 7

If you’re looking for an accurate GPS and a lot of other options such as outdoor activities and sports, then Garmin Smartwatches have got you covered. The most recently released Garmin Fenix 6 was able to store music, Garmin Play, pre-loaded topographical maps, and much more to entice.

Now Garmin fans are looking for another smartwatch named Garmin Fenix 7 which is likely to arrive on stores in 2020. The Garmin Fenix 7 is expected to be equipped with a more stylish and slimmer design so that you would be able to wear it all day long and night with comfort. It’ll sport features like improved GPS, ECG functionality, NFC Play as well as the ability to download music when you’re offline.

It’s reported to sport a number of exquisite sensors for users to get their hands on one with immediate effects and if everything is to be believed, then it’s going to be the most interesting version but with a higher price tag.

We have also heard a number of other rumours such as it’ll have a solar charging technology that is used on the flagship models of Garmin Fenix 6. Moreover, it’ll have reduced bezels around – hence, the design will be compact and won’t be really bulky.

7: OnePlus Smartwatch

We have already mentioned in our previous articles that OnePlus has dismissed to launch its rumoured OnePlus Smartwatch but we still think there is a more scope to change the decision. Let us be more accurate!

Business circumstances are quite complex for now and it entirely depends on the conditions, new technologies, and, of course, on the demand. We never ever thought we would see an 8GB RAM smartphone such as OnePlus 8 but the results are in front of us. Nokia was, indeed, the largest mobile company we all remember – but it now looks the smallest because the need for the market and the need for improvements in technology were not understandable.

We have created this whole scenario just to demonstrate a basic idea to you that there is always a chance of OnePlus smartwatch. Biggest companies such as Samsung, Apple, Sony, Huawei, Google, and others are planning to launch smartwatches. These companies have plans to shift the market dynamics in the following months and build more room in the world of smartwatches to fulfill future demands.

Probably, OnePlus is waiting as of now and will definitely launch its gorgeously designed smartwatch with impressive features. Let us mention that near in the future, it’s going to be a trend to launch a smartwatch alongside flagship devices every year.

8: Fossil Smartwatch

[groupProduct id=13560]

There are Fossil Smartwatches in Australia – offered by the Fossil group from a wide number of fashion brands such as Kate Spade, Diesel, Michael Kors, and others. We’ve already seen a number of devices not only at IFA 2019 but at CES 2020 too including Puma smartwatches that are available at Diesel, Skagen, and Michael Kors.

One of the particular devices that can be stirring was Skagen Falster 3 – a great-looking wear OS with a collaboration with Kygo’s trendy brand X. It’s loaded with a massive battery, and integrated speaker as well as 8GB of onboard memory and 30M water-resistant.

9: Xiaomi Smartwatch

[groupProduct id=29315]

We shouldn’t forget that Xiaomi has been growing speedily and covering a number of countries with its state-of-the-art products that are available at unmatched rates. Whilst bigger smartphone brands like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Sony, and others are enhancing their smartwatch line, there is a report that Xiaomi ha plans to surprise its audience with an affordable and highly stylish yet modern smartwatch in the future.

Unfortunately, we’re not exactly sure about it but it sounds quite pleasant to make affordable smartwatch alternatives from the other super-expensive brands. For smartphones, brands such as HTC, Sony, Samsung, and others are being destroyed entirely. Therefore, it makes sense that you can think clearly of even leaping for smartwatches. Everyone knows that Xiaomi is a smart brand but here we are talking about Xiaomi’s upcoming smartwatch at unmatched rates to give Apple and Samsung quite a hard competition.

Wrapping Up

Every much like every year, giants such as Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Sony, and a plethora of others are getting ready to make a rain of smartwatches in the market before 2020 ends and early in 2021. Therefore, you’ll be going to see a number of listed-above mind-boggling and state-of-the-art smartwatches in the coming year. Hence, you’ll be able to choose one for yourself by making a smart decision.
