Future Phones 2019 – The Latest and Upcoming Mobile Phones
Smartphones back in 2018 have now been changed intensely from ever-shrinking bezels to dual or triple cameras dribbling down to budget-friendly devices. Now, things are all set to be changed even more in 2019. Amazing? Obviously, it’s the time to look forward to a lot of foldable smartphones such as FlexPai from Royole, with world’s biggest smartphone brand “Samsung” which is ready to come up with a foldable smartphone – it’s been prototyping for years.
Flattening smartphones sales, on the other hand, are also catching up with Apple which is most likely to hit the market with new iPhones somewhere in September or October 2019 that are more of a departure from comparatively iterative iPhone XR and iPhone XS.
Well, all smartphone brands, as well as wireless carriers worldwide, are racing to bring the first 5G smartphones to the market just as networks based on the latest connectivity standard starting coming online in 2019. Here we dive into the list of Upcoming Mobile Phones 2019 arriving in the first and second half of the year. So, let’s keep going!
Samsung Galaxy S10 X
This gorgeous beast is said to be state-of-the-art handset from Samsung’s new generation of devices. The Galaxy S10 X is expected to be backed by a 6.7-inches screen and a ceramic back instead of a glass. It’s also the talk of the town due to its three rear and two front cameras, a whopping 12GB of RAM and massive 1TB of onboard storage. Interestingly, it’ll be loaded with 5G network. Yes! It’s very much the handset to celebrate 10 years of Samsung Galaxy Phones – but rumored price of 1700-1900 USD might some off. Chances are it won’t be released in all regions – instead of targeting the United States and Korean markets.
Honor View 20
The Honor View 20 from Huawei’s subsidiary brand “Honor” has also been released in China and offers a “Hole-Punch” selfie camera which means it can dump the notch – a big trend for 2019. This one of the Future Phones 2019 is going to be landed in Europe in a couple of days – ideal for budget-conscious buyers but a technologically advanced smartphone that’s setting trends. Stay tuned as we will bring you a full review sooner.
Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus
Back in 2018, Samsung didn’t make massive changes, but there is something big and interested coming in 2019 – Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus (a foldable smartphone as well). The official Samsung Galaxy S10 Release Date in Australia is most likely be 20 February at Galaxy Unpacked. Stay connected to for more details.
It’s been a while since we have been hearing about on-screen fingerprint scanners whereas the latest leaks suggest that it’ll be moving to eye-catching five cameras (three on the back and two on the front). Moreover, there is the talk of the punch-hole camera out front for sporting the front-facing camera – Infinity-O.
Samsung Galaxy S10 E
The Samsung Galaxy S10 E is also one of the Future Phones ready to arrive on shelves in the first half of the year. This economical version of S10 has long been rumored – also named S10 Lite, carefully and specially designed to entice to those who can’t stretch to S10 experience. But it seems like you wouldn’t miss out on much – it’s expected to be as powerful as the flagship devices (not really!) – Perhaps with a dip in 5.8-inches screen and a RAM. Importantly, it’s expected to comprise a dual camera outback and we suspect it’s designed to rival the Apple iPhone XR.
Motorola Moto Razr
If every rumor is to be believed, Motorola’s iconic handset will be back. And that’s what “Wall Street Journal” thinks. According to a report, Motorola could reintroduce a Razer as a foldable device somewhere in February 2019. There are only a few details in Journal report, other than the fact that the handset would be released in a limited run exclusively on Verizon and set users back approx. $1500 – might dim your nostalgia somewhat. Whenever does it come, it would potentially give Samsung’s highly-anticipated Galaxy F run for its money.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro
There is a plethora of New Smartphones Coming Soon in 2019 and P30 alongside P30 Pro are one of them too. Huawei indeed had a stellar 2018 with its most appealing devices such as Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro. Now, pushing forward into 2019, we are hoping to see the big launch of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. It won’t be wrong to expect tech lifted from Mate 20 to drift into Huawei flagship. So, we should expect 7 nanometer Kirin 980 Processor, at least 3 rear cameras which boost the offer from Mate 20. As a hole punch is not on par, so we are expecting it as well. Huawei has scheduled an event for MWC 2019 on February 2019 – so chances are both P30 and P30 Pro will appear there.
Motorola Moto G7
Aside from Motorola Moto Razr, Moto G7 is also one of the Upcoming Smartphones 2019 from Motorola. The Moto G was once the darling of affordable handsets – but then a lot of Chinese brands such as Huawei, Vivo, Oppo and OnePlus came crashing in and Nokia came back to life. The Moto G7 looks to arrive in G7, G7 Plus, and G7 Play formats. We wouldn’t be able to get our hands on before May 2019. But, you can expect this budget-friendly line to keep on fighting.
Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL
Yes! So many rumors have suggested that there is a Lite version of Google’s dazzling devices named Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL. Coming up in the same camera as a flagship device – a cheaper alternative could really set the cat among the pigeons. Perhaps, it will be loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Chipset, a pure Android and a more affordable price. Though, we are running short on details and have no idea when (or if) it arrives on shores. It’s better to say that early Spring 2019 is as good as it gets at the moment.
LG G8 ThinQ
Obviously, LG wouldn’t want to be behind the curve with its latest and greatest flagship devices – not with 5G in the offering. The LG G8 ThinQ which is one of the Upcoming Android Phones This Year – reported being landed at Mobile World Congress in February 2019. And one of the inclusions will be Sound on Display – that means it’ll have no speakers as the sound will come from the screen. LG, so far, has flip-flopped on this market reacting to leaked renders on Twitter and said it’s not the G8 ThinQ.
Nokia 9 PureView
It’s been a long time since we have been hearing about Nokia 9 PureView – it was talked about in 2017. Now, it seems to be landed as a flagship-level smartphone somewhere in 2019. A video has been surfaced indicating that it’ll have a 5.99-inches screen and a Zeiss camera with 5 impressive lenses outback. We wouldn’t be surprised if it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Now, the question is, when will it launch? Most probably in time for Mobile World Congress 2019.
LG Foldable Smartphone
As you already know, LG isn’t selling numerous smartphones – but is always willing to look at the latest and innovative technologies – not only because it has an impressive display business to showcase. That might be the reason that a Folding LG smartphone was rumored to be released at CES 2019 – something that didn’t happen. We didn’t hear a lot about it but with LG showing lots of flexible OLED Displays in the past and we can see it happening. Will it be named LG Flex? We are not sure!
Sony Xperia XZ4 and XZ4 Compact
Are you a fan of Sony? Get ready as Japanese smartphone brand Sony is expected to update its flagship phone with eye-catching and dazzling Sony Xperia XZ4 – most likely to land in February 2019. With the innovative design appearing through XZ3, Sony will move to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 to give it the latest powerful hardware but also move to a triple camera system. The XZ4 is expected to give so many options like zoom or wide-angle while boosting low light shooting.
Apple iPhone XI
This time around, putting an educated guess in terms of Apple’s upcoming iPhone name would be wrong. But, we have already learned that it wouldn’t be loaded with a 5G handset. As is often the case, Apple will be biding its time before leaping in with the latest and greatest technology. It’s good to expect it in 2 different sizes but expecting entirely a new design sounds unrealistic. So far, there is a little number of rumors and we should take everything as a pinch of salt.
Samsung Galaxy F
Is Galaxy X or Galaxy F? Discussion about Samsung’s Foldable Smartphone has circulated for several years but with an official unveil of a prototype – there is now lots of buzz about this beast. For now, it’s not confirmed what it will be named but according to rumors and suggestions, it will come with an Infinity Flex display and will land at MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress) or at Galaxy Unpacked event on February 20th, 2019. And in terms of price, it’ll go for a whopping $2000.
All right! We have heard about OnePlus’ Upcoming Smartphones i.e. OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T. Not much has been said – aside from the fact that OnePlus announced it won’t be a 5G handset. But according to OnePlus, it’ll be releasing its first 5G-enabled handset somewhere in 2019 – so will OnePlus 7 will be the one with the 5G network? Will it become a second-tier device? Things are pretty blurred, as of now.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10
The second biggest smartphone of 2019 will indeed be Galaxy Note 10 from Samsung. At the time of writing, there is already some talk about the latest Galaxy Note 10. Perhaps, Samsung will say goodbye to a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack and will increase the size of the screen again which sounds quite close to the Galaxy S10+. As Samsung has decided to avoid notch, so Galaxy Note 10 will sport a Hole Punch for housing a selfie snapper. It’s recommended not to expect a lot more until August 2019.
Huawei Mate 30
Being one of the biggest supporters of 5G Technology, Huawei has indicated that it has planned to release a 5G smartphone before the first half of 2019 ends. Not only this, Huawei’s first 5G smartphone will have a foldable screen and exactly, expect first 5G smartphone from Huawei to be a niche device. If we turn our heads toward rumors and speculations circulating all over the internet, it’ll be Huawei Mate 30 (not so sure!). Isn’t a foldable screen something like very interesting?
The listed above smartphones are just a taste of what’s to arrive this year. We will be keeping an eye and add more handsets as soon as we hear.
