Samsung Launches new Notebook 9 Pen 13” and 15” for 2019 in Australia
The CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is a couple of weeks away but Samsung seems to jump with a refreshed Samsung Notebook 9 Pen in Australia in both 13-inches and 15-inches editions. Though these laptops will start landing on shelves sometime in early 2019 but ahead of their official launch, you can learn what’s new starting today.
These Notebook 9 Pen transmits on Samsung’s existing PC design language – sleek, modern and modest with fully-baked hardware as well as keeping system weight down.
Features
As the name suggests, Samsung Notebook 9 Pen comes with much improved Samsung’s S Pen which is already on par with Samsung’s super-powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Moreover, Samsung is also throwing in a 3-month trial of a Myscript Nebo app from the Microsoft Store – which is indeed a perfect inking program. It has been claimed that S Pen has a reduced latency of up to 2x from a previous model.
If everything rumored on the Internet is to be believed, a processor of Notebook 9 Pen for 2019 is a more significant change as Samsung is opting for 8th generation Intel Core i7 ones although exact models weren’t detailed.
13-inches Notebook 9 Pen aside for a short while, 15-inches beast comes with a modest Nvidia GeForce MX150 alongside 2GB of video memory as well as a common GPU to make up for a lack of an Intel Iris Plus option.
Plentiful other features include dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, Gigabit Wi-Fi and bezel-less screen with Full HD+ resolution.
Samsung in their Notebook 9 Pen, used Windows Hello via Facial Recognition for the first time rather than a fingerprint reader. As compared to the last year’s version of Notebook 9 Pen, this upcoming edition is thinner, sleeker, and highly colorful and packs much more modern I/O.
