Oppo R11s Design

A great color combination scheme is the most outstanding component of R11s. The entire body is finished in a red shade not too dissimilar as compared to the Product Red iPhone 7. As for the design, you will find a power button on the right side of the display, whereas a volume key on the left.

The exterior of Oppo R11s has kept a slick metallic unibody with a mild matte finish. While less invasive antenna lines making it look fantastic than its predecessor.

A 3.5mm standard headphone jack is kindheartedly included on the bottom of the phone to the right of its micro USB port. A micro USB port? Yes! You read that accurately.

Oppo R11s Display

Oppo R11s it’s a simple refresh and comes with a larger display – 6-inches in an 18:9 ratio which is similar to the Google Pixel 2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Though it’s a real estate available than its predecessor, but the resolution still remains in the 1080p realm (2160 x 1080).

1080 Pixels resolution means it is not as sharp as the mainstream flagship Android phones. It is on equivalence with Honor View 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Although it has got colors and vibrancy by the bucket load.

Besides, Oppo R11s comes with a beautiful AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 401 PPI offering vibrant colors and exceptional brightness.

Oppo R11s Camera

Perhaps it sticks out on the back, but Oppo has included an inspiring dual 20MP + 16MP camera configuration with a large dual f/1.7 aperture.

Talking about their performance, a 16MP lens has made to meet the requirements of regular portrait photos in the daytime, while a 20MP lens specifically designed for capturing images in low-light.

The phone also includes “Portrait Lab” offering a wide number of suggestions and photo effects to improve the quality of shots. Based on dozens of tests, we can safely say that camera has an ability to enhance picture quality in any environment regardless of whether it’s night or day.

The extraordinary 20MP FaceTime sensor has also seen improvement and is loaded with Oppo’s self-learning AI Beautify software.

Oppo R11s Performance

The phone performs overall well thanks to the Snapdragon 660 processor which is onboard. However, it is not Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset but indeed gets you through routine tasks just like a hot knife through butter.

Even when playing graphics enriched games or working on multitasks, it does not show any sign of lag. Sure, side-by-side with a more powerful device, a slight delay in loading some titles and apps is acceptable, but not so major to make it a massive turn-off.

Oppo R11s Battery

Oppo R11s is powered by a large 3200mAh battery which lasts up to 8 hours and 4 minutes of heavy use. We think it’s a great result for a mid-range smartphone, right? It lasts just as long as the Samsung Galaxy S8 did in numerous tests.

Interestingly, Oppo R11s boasts fast charging capability, and Oppo promises that a 30 minutes charge will bring the phone to at least 75%.

Should You Buy it?

Without a doubt, Oppo R11s is a mid-range flagship device boasts a gorgeous 18:9 AMOLED display, small bezels and everything you will want from a top tier phone such as exquisite dual camera configuration along with face and fingerprint unlock as well as stylish design. Are you a premium phone experienced user, but cannot justify paying the usual flagship prices? Oppo R11s would be your first port of call certainly.
