The handset has now been launched in China, Nepal and nearest regions and available to pre-order with immediate effects. Oppo has announced that A7 will officially start landing on shores across China and Nepal from November 22, 2018.

The Oppo A7 release date in Australia is undecided as Oppo didn’t announce when (or if) A7 lands on shores. Very much like Australia, A7’s official availability in Europe, Africa, UK, US, and other countries is yet to be confirmed. Shouldn’t we wait for a couple of weeks more, as usual?

Price-wise, Oppo set users back around CNY 1599 which after conversion comes to around $230/€200 only. That sounds affordable if you’re not living in Nepal as in Nepal, it goes for NPR 35790 which is approx. $310/€270.

The Oppo A7 Price in Australia isn’t decided but after making a quick Google’s currency conversion and putting our educated guess, it’s most likely that it’ll set users back AU$315-350. Doesn’t this price range sound similar to Vivo’s latest and greatest Vivo Y95?

The exceptionally fastest A7 is backed by a magnificent body alongside a solid handy grip as well as curved edges which sounds identical to lot more devices around such as Nokia 8 Sirocco and Sony Xperia XZ3. The eye-catching glossy glass back gives A7 a sophisticated look whereas spotlight is just fine.

The jaw-dropping design with a maximum resolution of 720 x 1520 Pixels and a whopping battery making it a trendsetter handset of 2018 so far. The Corning Gorilla Glass gives it a slovenly touch whereas a gorgeous 6.3-inches screen with waterdrop-like notch based on IPS Technology adds a classy touch. The handset weighs only 168 grams which is lighter as compared to Oppo Realme 2 Pro. And with a massive 4230mAh battery, it’s a successor of Realme C1 along with enhanced and fully-baked features.

OS and Performance

Inside the handset, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Chipset – partnered up with Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard memory respectively. One can expand the onboard memory further up to 256GB by using a microSD card.

“Hey! We’ve heard that non-China variant of Oppo A7 in Australia, New Zealand, and nearest regions will only be backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard memory.”

The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system which provides you superior performance you had never experienced before like playing games for a long period of time and working on multiple apps at once without getting a sign of lag.

Besides, Oppo uses over LTE e.g. VoLTE Technology for giving users better audio and video call quality. Most of the specifications of A7 that have already listed on TENAA created a lot of hype in its users. The device stands out to have a delighting look with edge-to-edge 6.2-inches that adds touch to it.

The main reason why the device is getting so much fame is its rear dual camera with 13MP + 2MP sensor that gives users a clear shot and embezzled quality. The FaceTime sensor, on the other hand, is 16MP facilitates you with multi-frame image stabilizer to give striking selfies with your loved ones. Both sensors aside for a short while, it’s being supported by Studio Quality video or image shooting with its rear cameras which has been adorned by AI Technology.

The Oppo A7 Camera features include Geo-Tagging, HDR, Autofocus, Panorama and more. And there are ELD Flash and Face Detection that has been the most in-demand features of A7.

Last but absolutely not least, an impressive amount of battery – 4230mAh is a major highlight of Oppo A7. A bunch of online sources has claimed that a moderate user will easily last 2 days or even more with mixed activities such as browsing Internet once or twice in a day, watching videos or playing games only for a short period of time. We also heard that the handset only consumes 11% in just one hour with a moderate use.

The heavy usage will definitely deplete a big enough portion of 4230mAh battery – it’s because, after a specific time of heavy usage, the device becomes hot. and ate up to 21% of battery in one hour of extensive usage including downloading, multitasking and gaming.

  • Massive Amount of Battery
  • Dazzling and Jaw-Dropping Design
  • Bright, Crisp and Colorful Display
  • Amazing Color Options to Choose From
  • Too Much Lighter Smartphone – 168 Grams

  • Lower Camera MPs in this Price
  • Fewer Camera Features
  • Lacks LED Flash in FaceTime Sensor
  • 720 Pixel Display and Camera Aperture f/2.2
  • AMOLED Technology Would Have Been Nicer

Final Words

Let’s finish this off by saying, it is indeed a gorgeous and dazzling smartphone Oppo has ever manufactured, coming with a lot of features one would want. The handset is backed by premium and eye-catching body – houses almost bezel-less display thanks to its 81.6% screen-to-body ratio. The camera quality is excellent and so the battery capacity – 4230mAh capacity provides immense backup even to heavy users which actually stand A7 out from a competition. The only drawback is, A7 lacks a Full HD support which Oppo should have been provided in this price range. All in all, it’s an affordable smartphone with all flagship-level specs which definitely entice you to go for.
