Lenovo Z5s – Expected Price, Features and Specifications

The next upcoming smartphone from Chinese brand “Lenovo” is Lenovo Z5s in Australia – comprises a triple camera configuration and much more fully-baked features one would want. The VP of Lenovo Mr. Chang Cheng has now released teaser ports indicating that it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor and running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Release Date and Price

The Lenovo Z5s release date in Australia isn’t confirmed, for now. And when (or if) Z5s arrives on Australian shores, it’s yet to be announced even by Lenovo itself. However, Lenovo all set to launch Z5s in China and nearest regions on December 18 – a day after the official launch of Huawei Nova 4 in China.

Super-Strong Processor with Latest Software

It’s most likely that Lenovo Z5s will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon’s super-fast 636 Chipset which is rated to clock as high as 2.8GHz on its fastest core. The 636 is coupled with a whopping 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of impressive onboard memory for storing loads and loads of data with ease. Most interestingly, it’s expandable further up to 256GB with a help of microSD card.

Onto software, Lenovo Z5s is running on Android’s latest operating system – 9.0 Pie based on Lenovo’s own Zen UI 10.

Rear (Triple) Camera and Teardrop Notch Screen

Lenovo with its upcoming Z5s, has decided to take inspiration from the latest trend of offering a teardrop notch in order to minimize obstruction whereas still presenting users with a high-quality front camera – as such – super-gorgeous 6.3-inches IPS LCD screen at the front alongside Full HD+ resolution 1080 x 2340 Pixels – taking full advantage of a freed up real estate.

The small/waterdrop-like notch comprises an 8MP front-facing camera and lets you enjoy video calls with your loved ones. And outback, on the other hand, it’s boasting a triple camera configuration which around resembles a configuration which we have already seen in Huawei’s P20 Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy A7 2018. All these sensors on Z5s measures 16MP + 8MP and 5MP.

The total amount of battery is 3210mAh – none-removable. A moderate user is expected to be lasted all day long with mixed activities whereas heavy user won’t get more than that. However, you will be able to enjoy incredibly fast charging thanks to its 15W charging with restores juice approx. 50% in 1 hour through USB Type-C Port.
