Huawei Honor 7S Release Date

A bunch of rumours is circulating around and suggesting that Huawei Honor 7S will be released in May 2018. The actual release date is still up in the air.

Talking about Honor 7S release date in Australia, Huawei has announced that the Honor 7S will start hitting shelves late in May 2018. However, U.S. and UK release date is still undecided.

Huawei Honor 7S Price

Based on rumours, Huawei Honor 7S will soon be launched with a price tag between $200-230. If it turns out to be true, it is going to be the most affordable smartphone without a doubt.

As far as Honor 7S price in Australia is concerned, we are short on information. But it is safe to assume that the price would not be more than AU$240. As soon as we hear more, we will update this page.

Honor 7S Design

The Honor 7S design is rumoured to be similar to what we have already seen on recent Honor flagships. Moving towards its front, there is a display with thick bezels surrounding it and the Honor logo at the bottom. Whereas, the back of the phone is minimal featuring only a single camera with LED flashlight and Honor logo.

The Honor 7S is said to come in sensational colours: Black, Blue and Champagne Gold.

Honor 7S Display

The Honor 7S sports a 5.45-inches gorgeous FullView 2.5D curved glass display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is being supported by the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels at 295 PPI. Moreover, the display is sharp with excellent colour reproduction, brightness, and sunlight legibility. The viewing angles are great and the contrast ratio is also really good.

Honor 7S Camera

The device is well-equipped with a single 13MP camera sensor on the back, while a 5MP sensor is available on the front for selfies and video calling. Both rear and front camera sensors are loaded with an LED flash to enlighten shots under low-light. The camera features including Autofocus and Geo-Tagging, Face Detection, HDR, and Panorama.

Honor 7S Performance and OS

The overall performance of Honor 7S is exquisite but lacks a “wow” factor. The phone is powered by Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU for handling graphics department. The phone can play graphics enriched games to some extent but you cannot work on multitasking thanks to its lowly 2GB of RAM.

The Honor 7S is shipped with Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 just like all current and upcoming flagships. The apps open and load up quickly and don’t show a sign of lag.

Honor 7S Battery and Connectivity Options

The Honor 7S is backed by a 3020mAh non-removable battery (powered by a MicroUSB port with power) that keeps you online throughout a day under moderate use. Heavy usage, however, will force you to charge it before going to bed.

The phone boasts several connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio and of course a 3.5mm standard headphone jack.
