HTC U12 Release Date and Availability:

The HTC U12 release date has been confirmed as May 23rd by the Taiwanese mobile phone vendor on its global and UK Twitter accounts. HTC U12 release date in Australia, as well as its availability, is still unknown.

HTC U12 Price:

The exact HTC U12 Price is not confirmed yet, but the estimated cost will be around $800 in Europe, according to rumours. HTC U12 Price in the U.K will be around £650, and if you are considering HTC U12 Price in Australia then you may need to spend AU$100 to AU$1200.

HTC U12 Design and Display:

HTC U12 will most probably follow the bezel-less design, unlike the U11 phone. And now with the leaked HTC U12 photos on various authentic tech sites and social media, it’s almost confirmed that it has just minor bezels in its body.

The tops and bottoms of the device have been completely wrapped, for stand stability as well as to stop further details of a brand new mobile phone.

A bezel-less design will demand the fingerprint scanner to be moved, as it had previously taken place below the 5.8 4K display.

There are also some rumours saying that the HTC U12 will be available in a new matte finish and that this certainly will be a metal frame enclosed in curved glass front and back.

The U12 flagship device will most probably offer a larger display as compared to its previous version, though still smaller than the 6’’ display of the HTC U11 Plus variant. HTC could comprise the screen with a 5.7’’ or 5.8’’ display, but it is yet to be confirmed. The screen is expected to offer 1440x2880 pixels of QHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio; however, there are few rumours saying that we might see a 4K panel inside the device.

HTC U12 Camera:

When it comes to HTC U12 camera, the new HTC featured phone is going to launch with a dual rear camera setup with 16MP and 12MP Sony sensors. Although dual camera setup has become a standard in the flagship device. It will also offer an 8MP high-quality front face camera for selfies and video calling.

The HTC U11 has an overall nice and high-specs camera, but there was a noticeable shutter lag in it. And it was a surprise from such a great smartphone, but it is considered to be the continuous issue for HTC handsets and can be frustrating, even doesn’t provide a perfect capture. In addition to this, we are going to see a higher shutter speed for the HTC U12 mobile phone.

HTC U12 Processor:

HTC U12 will be loaded with highly advanced and latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, for providing their users with super-fast web browsing, super-smooth gaming, and uninterrupted multi-tasking.

HTC U12 On-Board Memory:

According to news leaks, the U12 smartphone will be launched with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. So, it’s a nice improvement in terms of performance. The device will come with possibly two storage options: 64GB or 128GB. You will be provided with the facility to upgrade its onboard internal storage via a separate microSD card.

HTC U12 Battery:

Rumors are circulating that the upcoming HTC U12 will have a 3420mAh battery capacity that will last longer. Though it’s quite bigger than the 3000mAh battery of U11, a way smaller than the 3900mAh battery of U11+. All in All, this is much-improved capacity battery than its previous version.

HTC U12 Edge Sense:

The U12 mobile device will probably offer an updated Edge Sense version, relative to its predecessor. Due to this feature, you can open a mobile app by just compressing the device. This is a really useful and productive feature to have on your smartphone.

HTC U12 Speakers:

HTC is highly popular due to its great sound, no matter you are listening from your headphones or directly from the handset. But we miss the impressive sound from the front-facing BoomSound speakers of HTC U11. Now it’s expected that U12 will also include front speakers with better sound technology and features.

HTC U12 Smarter Sense Companion:

Although not promoted as much as Edge Sense, Sense Companion by HTC is as useful as it should be. This AI app tracks the weather, your calendar, your location, your battery level, and phone’s usage status. That could mean notifying you to charge your smartphone before attending a meeting, or telling you when you are using your device excessively.

Not only this, but it also provides suggestions of places for outdoor party or lunch, but they never produce as turning to Google, while notifying you that you are using your mobile phone a lot isn’t that good no matter if the application is not going to motivate you for less usage.
