Huawe Honor 10 Review: Dual lens AI Camera, Full-View Notched Display
Huawei introducing the Honor 10, which is P20 alike smartphone device with 19:9 full view notched display and AI-enabled dual camera. It is smart, beautiful, and powerful phone with solid built and high-end performance.
With the Honor 10, the brand continues the trend of delivering high-end hardware and premium quality design into a pocket-friendly device. But with the likes of Moto G6 and Nokia 7 Plus, this space is getting tough to compare. Powered by the Kirin 970 super-powerful processor and most efficient cameras to date, it's just like an upgraded version of the Huawei Nova 3e. With its AI dual lens 16MP+24MP premium quality camera setup, you can make your memories long-lasting by shooting highest quality photos and videos. The device comes in a variety of exciting colors, so you can pick a color you want and make a unique statement. And with the amazing Honor 10 price tag, it will really give a tough competition to the other flagships of 2018.

The new Honor 10 by Huawei offers the same 'notch' design at the top of the screen that is common in a lot of Android phones now.
The Honor 10 is almost identical to P20, especially when it comes to the fingerprint scanner which is active at the bottom in both of the devices. The fingerprint scanner is right under the screen, to make the front side of the phone super-smooth and classic. You will also see a bottom bezel as well.
With just 153 grams of weight, it is convenient to hold in just one hand. And the device looks glossy and slippery as well, similar to other flagships with glass back.
The global version of Honor 10 colors will come with Mirage Purple, Magic Night Black, Mirage Blue, and Gray Gull. We are not 100% sure about UK color finishing.
The device has a 5.84-inches large IPS LCD that comes with full HD+ resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. As it is backed by LCD screen, it is intended to become little warmer in colors compared to OLED screen. But the good thing is that you can control the color temperatures according to your wish. The screen of Honor 10 is also bright enough to read even in direct sunlight.
The smartphone device comes with 19:9 wide cinema alike screen, so you can get maximum detail while watching videos. It is also backed by Corning Gorilla Glass (unspecified version) to provide extra protection to the phone’s screen.
The Honor 10 mobile phone is loaded with a dual-lens rear AI camera, thanks to the Kirin 970 chipset and an attached NPU. There is a 16MP sensor coupled with a 24MP monochrome sensor, which is dedicated to delivering awesome shots even if you are not a pro photographer, all due to its AI technology.
When you come to the front side of the device, there is also a large and high-quality 24MP Selfie Cam that further supports face unlocking and 1080p video recording.
Power and Battery
This phone by Huawei has a super-powerful HiSilicon's Kirin 970 octa-core processor, which was also active in the Huawei P20 device. It will also include 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depend on the region you are purchasing. Though 6GB of RAM has become a standard in all the latest flagships and hence we are expecting the same in the worldwide launch.
As far as battery power is concerned, it includes a 3400mAh solid cell, well supported by USB-C for fast-charging. Luckily, there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. But you will miss the wireless charging within the Huawei device.
On the other hand, the Huawei Honor 10 will run the EMUI 8.1 re-skin over Google's Android OS.
