Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Australia – Specifications, Features and more

In quite a few years, Asus has stepped up their game on their notebooks and their Zenbook range grows larger and larger with decreased bezels, increased storage and power, and small things added that are actually making Asus' devices stand out from a crowd. The Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F in Australia is a 15-inch notebook with a magnificent narrow-loudspeaker across all edges and a stylish design, which gives you the feeling you are using a Zenbook.

Some key features of 15 UX533F include slim bezels which is one of the most screen-to-body ratio notebooks - available around. The display is named "NanoEdge" which comes with a 3D IR Webcam on a small bezel - looks pretty impressive. It’s worth mentioning that it’s available in 13 and 14-inches models as well alongside an onboard NumberPad in a Trackpad.

Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Specs

The Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Specifications include 16GB DDR RAM, Intel Core i7-8565U Processor 1.8 GHz, impressive 15.6-inches FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and approx. 1.69 kilograms weight. The Zenbook 15 UX533F includes:

Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Design

The Asus ZenBook UX533F 2019 has a few latest and useful design tweaks. The narrow-bezel screen of a 3 mm so-called "NanoEdge" is most noteworthy. The Zenbook has an impressive display ratio of 95%, and it's remarkable to see how much space it occupies. Asus has transferred the display connectors to the base, allowing more display space and less black space. There's an impressive new, super-thin 3D IR camera on the top as well.

The display gracefully opens and even acts as a bootstrap for the device which lifts it by 3 degrees. This "Ergo Lift" feature enables better cooling below the device and the speakers to be disengaged and the device to be slanted so that it is easy to type.

The Asus ZenBook case is known by Asus as "Zen-inspired". A wind-like flow from the center of the top looks cool and goes outward. The top case has an aluminum, and the bottom has a plastic structure. Both materials manage to give the unit its stand-out appearance in a rich color form.

The beast weighs under 2KG at just 1.69kgs and it is only 17.9 mm when it's closed. Talking about its ports, it's equipped with USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C and USB 3.1 Type-A with a maximum speed of 10 Gbps and USB 3.1 Type-A with up to 5 Gbps. The ASUS Zenbook is also backed by a USB-A to Ethernet adaptor - very much like MSI PS63 Modern.

Functionality and Keyboard

It’s loaded with an impressive keyboard. The low-travel buttons and silky and smooth feel have created a great experience for typing. Though it doesn't really replace Predator Helios 500 when it comes to typing - but overall, it's marvelous.

On the other hand, the NumberPad placement isn't that incredible. In a small device, Asus tried to include a full-sized keyboard. This means that the NumberPad is stuck in an angle of the device and is difficult to use. The keys are narrow and not really perfect. A Trackpad is impressive as well. Super-smooth motion and gesture were easy to pull off and never impact whatsoever on productivity. The stretched-out touchpad of MSI PS63, however, is better, that one served its purpose.

Display and Performance

The Asus ZenBook UX533F is well-equipped with an impressive and outstanding display. The Full HD+ 3.5mm LCD screen is exquisite to work with media content and even for streaming. It is brighter than the great MSI PS63 Modern and has a good viewing angle. This display is approx. 300 nits long and represents a huge jump compared to 230 high MSI PS63. The ZenBook is not yet 4K but FHD functionality. It's being powered by NVIDIA GTX 1050 Max-Q. And the VRAM has only 2GB but is sufficient for the basics. This means that basic photo editing, video editing and some light gaming on the device are great. In a multi-core test and a single-core test, Geekbench scores have shown a decent pointing system of 15,301. This score as compared to its closest rival - MSI PS63 which scored 12,768 on a multicore test.

With regard to the computer benchmark, the result was 68,249. This was compared with the 71.853 scores on MSI PS63. It shows clearly that the CPU may be a little more powerful, but it does not have a smidge on the GPU front. Yet it never failed in all I tossed on the device to provide quick and smooth visuals. The results showed that this small device has a lot of power under the cap.

Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Battery

Last but absolutely not least, we have battery life. A good 10 hours or more can be expected on an average working day of Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F. This includes some photo editing, ordinary office materials, video, and other content. It's capable to last all day for anyone who takes it to and from his/her office into a meeting and works lightly here and there on it. Making a long story short, it is fantastic battery life.

Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Release Date

The Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Release Date in Australia isn’t known - even putting an educated guess wouldn’t be right, for now. It’s, however, available in all other countries including India, China, and some European countries.

Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Price

The Asus Zenbook 15 UX533F Price in Australia is undecided as well but it’s priced RS 1,39,990 in India which after Google’s Quick Currency Conversion, comes to around AU$2,855. We will have that story updated as soon as we hear more.
