Hardware and Internal Features

Last year, at Computex 2018, Asus surprised everyone with the ScreenPad, a screen instead of the trackpad. This year, next to an improved version of the ScreenPad, the ScreenPad 2.0, Asus introduced the ZenBook Pro Duo, a laptop that ships the ScreenPad Plus, an impressive 14-inch screen that complements the main screen, OLED, 15.6 inches. Now Asus presents the simple smaller but effective model of its pro version. It also comes with the same body and physical appearance just like dual touch screens. The difference comes within the internal features like the screen size is reduced to 14 inches of display the weight is reduced to 1.8 kilograms which is easy to carry. This laptop comes with the i7 core processor and has 16 Gb of Ram along with the support of 16 Gb of Ram. A powerful Nvidia Ge Force of 2 Gb support this amazing laptop and have the battery of 70wh 4 cells. It comes with the storage of 1 Tb HDD and also has a support of SDD. The recommended operating system for this laptop is Windows 10 Home but it will also be operated on Windows 10 Pro edition.

Display and Design

There is as such no difference in between both model Pro Duo and Duo. The screen size has been reduced but the performance is as same as it was in the Pro version. It also comes with the dual screen the second touch screen can be a simple extension of the main display where you can drag items without hindering the reading of the main screen, or display shortcuts for certain applications.

The presence of this display covering the entire width of the laptop has required redisposition keyboard and touchpad. the latter is thus shifted to the right. The ZenBook Pro Duo offers a 15.6-inch 4K OLED or 14-inch 4K IPS display while the ZenBook Duo opts for a 14-inch FHD display or a 12.6-inch FHD display. The second screen also requires pushing the keyboard to the limits of the chassis, which poses some ergonomic problems. To remedy this, Asus offers a removable wrist rest with its new machines.

Price

Asus has recently launched its two new laptops with an innovative feature like dual touch screen the first one is the main screen and the second screen is above the keyboard.
